About Us
Our story
Victoria Butchers is owned and run by me, James and my family. I trained as a Butcher over 20 years ago in my hometown of Bright, Victoria in Australia, where I also later opened my own shop.
A career break led me to the Mining Industry in Western Australia and this is where I met my wife, Emma who was working as a Geologist. When our second son was born we made the move back to Eastbourne where Emma is from.
After working again as a Butcher in the local area the exciting opportunity arose to open our own store in Terminus Road and here we are.
Our vision
I want to be able to supply Eastbourne and the surrounding area with the highest quality meat from local suppliers. Knowing where our food comes from and that it is supporting local businesses ensures we are responsible and sustainable.
With our varied products from roasting joints to oven ready products, we hope that all levels of chef from beginner to pro are catered for. We also supply a large range of cheeses and condiments to accompany meals and create an " eating out, in" experience.
